Not long after Jamie's Wish Foundation was formed, I was reading a book about a woman walking alongside her friend with cancer. It touched me deeply, as her story reminded me so much of Jamie's. A crazy thought instantly hit me. What if we could turn Jamie's blog into a book? She was so inspiring, and her words had helped so many of us. Would it be possible to allow her words to touch even more people beyond her life?

I honestly believe that idea was not my own, and that Jamie chose me to make this happen. She knew I would finish it, no matter how long it took to make it happen. It took several years since the initial idea, but I also believe there was a reason for that as well. The timing of finishing the book coincided with the new patient led project for Jamie's Wish Foundation. Since I always knew the proceeds would go directly to the foundation, it worked out perfectly!

I am so honored to be a part of helping Jamie's words be read by more people, and am excited the proceeds will help contribute to the new project in honor of Andy Tyhurst. Jamie continues to inspire me on a daily basis, and I hope reading her story will inspire you as well.
